Ron Olesko welcomes Washington D.C. based singer-songwriter (and former WFDU-FM radio host!) Michelle Murray back to perform songs live in the studio and to share recordings from her new EP This Life, My Life.   Plus, new music from Ry Cooder, Laurie MacAllister, The Lied To's, Tom Heany and others.

Show: Traditions

The longest running show on WFDU-FM, TRADITIONS was created by Ron Olesko in 1980
Listening to TRADITIONS is your weekly ticket to a virtual folk festival.  Each week, Ron samples the diverse world of folk music in all its various forms - introducing you to emerging singer-songwriters, throwing a spotlight on the trailblazers of the folk revival, and sharing the  countless treasures of the folk music community - including acoutisc blues, Celtic, country, Cajun and other flavors of American and World roots music.
Ron's guests visit the show to share their songs live and give you insight into their music. In addition, Ron shares announcements about upcoming concerts and festivals in our area.
Traditions airs every Sunday from 3-6 PM ET and streams live on the web through this website.  Join in the fun each week!
