Show: Traditions

The longest running show on WFDU-FM, TRADITIONS was created by Ron Olesko in 1980 with Bill Hahn coming on board as the co-host (alternating weeks) in the mid 90's.
Listening to TRADITIONS is your weekly ticket to a virtual folk festival.  Each week, Ron and Bill sample the diverse world of folk music in all its forms - introducing you to emerging singer-songwriters, throwing a spotlight on the trailblazers of the folk revival, and sharing the  countless treasures of the folk music community - samplings of blues, Celtic, country, Cajun and other flavors of American and World roots music.
Traditions airs every Sunday from 2-5 PM ET and streams live on the web through this website.
