Andres Padua founded, a 24-hour Internet radio website, in July 2005. Originally known as The Latin Soul Show Radio, the station’s format is predominantly New York-style Afro-Cuban salsa. Hard Salsa Radio is one of the few stations on the Internet specializing in salsa, including rare classics and new bands, worldwide. brings you back down that memory lane that was New York City during the Latin Americana era of the 70s, from the popular radio DJs and their shows, including The Symphony Sid Show, hosted by Sid Torin, and the Joe Gaines, Dick "Ricardo" Sugar and Paco Navarro shows. The station takes you back in time with the great Latin artists—The Joe Cuba Sextet, Joe Bataan, Ralphy Pagan, The Fania All Stars and other legends of salsa, boogaloo and Latin soul. In addition, plays rare artists who did not receive much airplay, such as Johnny Sedes, Orquesta Mega Uno and Orquesta Rodax, Orquesta Zodiac.

The station also specializes in new salsa from bands worldwide, including China, the Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Israel, Peru, Colombia and over thirty other countries. features over 700 salsa bands with over 500,000 songs in a continually increasing rotation. The website achieved over 100,000 listeners worldwide in 2010.
Andres Padua AKA “Mr. Hard Salsa,” a contributor to Que Viva La Música since 2012 ,and a regular on the show since May 2013, has come onboard officially as co-host with Vicki Solá. The two remain deeply committed to preserving and perpetuating the best of authentic Salsa, old and new. Because of their on-air chemisty and shared taste in music—and humor—Padua and Solá have become known as “The Bonnie & Clyde of Salsa.”
