In Sight is an interview program dedicated to thought provoking discussions with thought provoking people. Many facets of our culture will be explored including literature, history, art, theater, and contemporary affairs. We also try to understand how the American experience fits into a world perspective.
Recent interviews have included Jonathan Alter on his book, The Defining Moment, FDR’s Hundred Days and The Triumph of Hope and Robert Thurman on Why The Dalai Lama Matters: His Act of Truth as the Solution for China, Tibet and the World.
Jack McElligott comes to the world of radio from a former career as a Social Worker with a psychotherapy private practice. He spent 38 years working in the community and in an administrative capacity with a broad cross section of our demographic population on issues of mental health, addiction, elder abuse, employment and training, and advocacy. He has an MSSW from ColumbiaUniversity, has taught seminars at RutgersUniversity and presented at numerous conferences on topics within these fields.

Jack loves to travel and has been all the world including some recent trips to India and Tibet. He has many cultural interests that he brings to the show and thoroughly researches for each interview. Jack keeps in shape through jogging and bicycling and has run 6 marathons including 3 in NYC.
